Some people say....
....that I'm just not all there. With all this triathlon stuff and Ironman and Triple T and double this and brick that. I must be a little off center.
I'm fine with that. I've realized that perhaps I'm maybe only about "half" there. And this season is shaping up to be not half bad.
Okay enough of the crap....where am I going with this?
This season has become a season of half iron races.
Triple T culminated with a half iron on Sunday.
I am registered for the Muncie Endurathon on July 10.
Today I registered for the Rev3 Half Rev at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio. Originally I was leaning towards the Full Rev, but recent discussions with Aimee made me realize that I won't be ready for the Full Rev in time. I can ramp up for a big effort in the Half Rev better.
My running is not up to par right now and I would probably injure myself trying to get up to marathon shape.
So Half Rev it is. Do you hear that Big Daddy Diesel? I'm committed.
Running the Half also allows me to watch a whole crap load of friends finish the Full Rev. I will finish the day as an IronFan cheering.
The season may involve a bunch of "halfs".......but Game is full On.

You da man...don't let anybody tell you different!
I, for one, will be SUPER grateful to have you there as an Ironfan!!! :) Good luck in your 70.3 - which, after doing 2 and having another in 3 weeks, is a pretty freakin' cool distance to do!!! Have fun with that!
:)
Anyone who likes the Smiths is okay by me.
YAHOOOOOOOO for the half! I'll be there doing it with the whole team...should be awesome! :)
Do you know the most important part to gain from that post? It was that you spoke with the woman of the house and she "guided" you to the correct decision -- see if only more men were as wise as you ;o) Good luck Eric!! A PR in the HIM is almost imminent with all your training.
I will there too, either 70.3 or 57.2, I am hoping for the first one. It will be fun to see you again
Yeah, I am so glad you will be out there iron-fanning! We are going to have just the BEST cheerleaders!
