How to push the body

If you remember, as part of my Triple T race report from 2009 I talked about pushing the mind and body. I found this video clip of Jens Voigt talking about how he pushes his body.

I have to keep this in mind as I prepare for and race the Huntington Sprint Tri this Sunday.

Glad to know I'm not alone in having conversations with myself during a race.

Good stuff. When I'm running and I want to stop I always talk to my self. I ask me - why do I want to stop - do my lungs hurt, do my legs hurt, does something else hurt? Usually it is lungs sometimes it is legs and rarely is it something else. Then I proceed to talk myself thru that feeling. It works every time :-)
